eVinci Principal Manufacturing Engineer

About the role:

As an eVinci Principal Manufacturing Engineer, you will support eVinci manufacturing development and commercialization activities. You will report to the Manager - eVinci Manufacturing.

This is a hybrid role located in Etna, PA. No relocation or sponsorship is offered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the transition of eVinci from manufacturing development to test reactor and commercial manufacturing.
2. Coordinate Design for Manufacturability activities, including design concept and option development, manufacturing process planning, and cost estimation for assigned components and systems.
3. Coordinate and document MRL assessments, maturation plans, manufacturability reviews, and drawing/GD&T reviews to support eVinci design development.
4. Manage manufacturing, equipment, and facility development efforts, schedule activities, and M&S budgets for assigned components and systems.
5. Work with the supply chain to coordinate technical discussions, gather manufacturability feedback, develop RFQs for lead-time and pricing, and complete supplier assessments and manufacturing activities.
6. Develop manufacturing requirements and specifications for vendor-procured equipment, collaborating with design and materials engineering to develop material specifications.
7. Create purchase requisitions for materials, products, and services.
8. Create Commercial Grade Dedication Instructions with support from Design Engineering, Supplier Performance Engineering, and Supplier Quality Oversight.
9. Support Design to Value workshops and continuous improvement activities aimed at cost savings and process enhancements related to eVinci manufacturing.
10. Develop equipment cost estimates to support eVinci cost modeling efforts.
11. Assist in developing newly graduated manufacturing engineers through training programs.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
