Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to join a manufacturing client in Bloomington, MN. You will partner with IT and business partners to define and execute a global data strategy, focusing on scalable, governed data solutions across cloud domains with an emphasis on MDM, core persona modeling, and modern data platforms including Snowflake, Tableau, and Oracle.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Licensing may be required for export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Expertise in data modernization, architecture, and enablement including data lakes, data warehouses, data marts, and MDM.
• Strong governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable data platforms, frameworks, and architecture patterns.
• Experience influencing leadership and stakeholders on technology solutions.
• Experience applying knowledge of IT management processes and organization.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience leading data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and enterprise data lakes.
• Strong experience in solution architecture for cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience in data integration, data processing, streaming, and messaging technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT groups and business partners to identify opportunities to enhance data delivery across the enterprise.
• Define, develop, and execute the global enterprise data strategy.
• Deliver scalable, governed, and business-aligned data solutions across cloud-based domains, with a focus on MDM and modern data architectures.
• Serve as a strategic bridge between business and IT to treat data as a critical enterprise asset for data-driven decision making.
• This is a hybrid role requiring onsite collaboration in Bloomington, MN.
