Job Description Summary

We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Principal Architect to lead the way in designing and implementing our Oracle Cloud solutions. As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will lead the charge at the forefront, designing and implementing Oracle Cloud solutions, work closely with various stakeholders to define our cloud architecture and develop smart migration strategies, ensure our cloud-based systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing as well as provide leadership and mentorship to other architects and IT professionals. If you have a proven track record in designing and implementing Oracle Cloud solutions, understand cloud architecture, migration strategies, and best practices and have the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders we would love to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design and implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for migrating existing on-premises applications and systems to Oracle Cloud.
  3. Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into strategic cloud architecture solutions.
  4. Evaluate and integrate Oracle Cloud services and solutions into the existing IT environment, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  5. Establish and enforce cloud architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
  6. Ensure that cloud solutions comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  7. Monitor the performance of Oracle Cloud solutions, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
  9. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior architects and other IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  10. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement in cloud architecture and solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
  2. Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. 12+ years of experience in a minimum of 3-4 Large Oracle ERP Implementations with a minimum of 6+ years in Oracle Cloud implementation.
  4. Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud ERP, and SCM including configuration, customization, and integration. Ability to design scalable and robust architecture solutions for Oracle EBS/Fusion Applications to meet business requirements.
  5. Must be willing to travel 10%-20%.
  6. Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

The base pay range for this position is $150,800- $251,300. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on April 30, 2025.

Eligibility Requirement:

Desired Characteristics:

  1. Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud services (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Cloud Applications), cloud migration strategies, and cloud security.
  2. Experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus.
  3. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  4. Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) in a cloud environment.
  5. Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn.
  6. Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively.
  7. Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed.
