Google Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer for YouTube Shorts, Creator Growth at Mountain View. You will shape the technical strategy to scale content creation and build a sustainable ecosystem for millions of creators worldwide.

You will tackle large-scale ML challenges, work with LLMs and multi-modality models, and collaborate with CoreX, Music, and Infrastructure teams to align the creator growth vision across the YouTube stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in engineering.
• Experience with cross-functional technical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Grow content creation and build a sustainable ecosystem for millions of creators.
• Define the technical strategy that ensures a healthy supply of high-value content.
• Solve large-scale machine learning challenges that define the next era of discovery for creation growth.
• Leverage LLMs, multi-modality modeling, and large embedding models to build specialized recommender systems.
• Partner with CoreX, Music, Community, and Infrastructure teams to integrate the creator growth vision across the YouTube stack.
