Your Career

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver next-generation cloud security service technologies within our Next Firewall as a Service team. We want passionate engineers who love architecting and coding world-class security services on cloud providers. Ideal candidates bring new ideas, take ownership, and are driven to solve problems at all levels. Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to our culture, and we need engineers who communicate well and work towards shared goals.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of NextGen Firewall as a Service
• Own the end-to-end workflow for a major component of the service in its first version
• Lead collaboration with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality software
• Suggest and improve development processes in an open engineering environment
• Identify, articulate, and mitigate risks in ongoing and planned projects, providing mentorship and stakeholder communication as needed
• Work with DevOps and Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues and enhance customer experience
• Design and build backend services using Go
• Interview, mentor, and coach new team members

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 10+ years in software engineering, focusing on cloud application development, in large organizations or startups
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in distributed systems
• Experience with cloud service development on AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
• Knowledge of complex cloud networking topologies and multi-cloud interconnects
• Experience with cloud development (REST APIs, databases, serverless computing) of distributed applications
• Experience building and delivering services at scale using microservices architectures
• Strong technical leadership skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to explain architecture and design decisions comprehensively
• High energy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Quick learner eager to adopt emerging technologies

Education

• M.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Our team develops Cloud Security services on cloud providers, managing all aspects from activation to orchestration and APIs. We seek individuals comfortable with ambiguity, excited by challenges, and motivated by the importance of a secure digital environment.

Compensation Disclosure

Salary ranges from $200,000 to $230,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation may include stock units and bonuses. More details are available in our benefits overview.
