Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking engineers to design and build state-of-the-art IoT security cloud services. You will develop scalable, high-performance services for IoT devices and integrate with systems like ServiceNow, SIEMs, and Cisco/ISE.

You’ll work with NodeJS, Java, and Python in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will lead initiatives in data pipelines, real-time analytics, and security analytics, partnering with multi-functional teams to deliver impactful cybersecurity

Competenze

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5–10 years software development experience.
• 5+ years experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience building large-scale distributed serving systems.
• Proficiency in NodeJS/Java/Python; Linux and shell scripting.

Your Impact

• Design and implement the highly scalable and easily managed services for IoT security products to exchange IoT intelligences and extend system functionality through integrations with third party systems like ServiceNow, SIEMs and Cisco/ISE etc.
• Design and implement the highly scalable and high performance services to support IoT devices’ operational technology support
• Design and implement IoT Security Web Service APIs using NodeJS and SQL/Nosql database technology to provide key metrics and analytics for IoT devices
• Design and implement algorithms for Device Security event connector and inspector management services to transfer customer network data into the cloud for storage and analytics at scale
• Design and implement data pipeline to support IoT security features like device Identification, alert publishing, and device status tracking
  

The Team

As part of the IoT security cloud infrastructure team, you’ll be working on building our state of art realtime data analytics system and high performance serving system. You won’t find someone at Palo Alto Networks that isn’t committed to your success – with everyone pitching in to assist when it comes to solutions selling, learning, and development. As a member of our systems engineering team, you are motivated by a solutions-focused sales environment and find fulfillment in working with clients to resolve incredible complex cyberthreats.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5~10 years software development experience
• 5+ years of working experience with Amazon AWS, Google GCP or MS Azure
• Experience building large-scale distributed serving system
• 5-10 years of software development experience with NodeJS/JAVA/Python
• Experience with Linux and Shell scripting
• Strong communication skills
• Great problem-solving skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka/firehose, Redis, Spark/Spark Streaming/Spark SQL, Redshift, or other data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of Network Domain
• Experiences in building real-time analytics systems or machine learning systems
• Experience in Single Sign On (SSO) integration, Graph Data Lakehouse

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

$147,000.00 - $237,500.00/yr
