Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a Principal Engineer - Protection to drive innovation in protection technologies and product strategy. You will bridge customers, Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Engineering Services, and R&D to translate needs into differentiated solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in power systems, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor engineers while traveling as needed. Boise or Pullman locations with competitive pay and ESOP benefits.

Formación

• 15+ years working knowledge of electric power systems or equivalent industry experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship of engineers.
• Strong written and spoken communication, technical presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead discovery, development, evaluation, and advancement of new ideas and growth initiatives.
• Translate market opportunities into product requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Influence product strategy, roadmaps, and value propositions for growth.
• Monitor performance, adoption, and revenue to guide decisions and improve outcomes.
• Educate internal/external audiences on SEL capabilities and technologies.
