Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Principal Engineer - Plant Layout. You will oversee nuclear plant site layout, equipment, piping & HVAC layouts, and related hazard assessments, with hybrid work 2–3 days on-site and potential relocation to other US locations.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and collaborating across disciplines, you will guide layout design and ensure coordination between systems, structures, and plant arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil/Structural/Architectural or Mechanical Engineer).
• At least 6 years of experience.
• Experience in 3D modeling software for site layout plots.
• Visual and spatial design skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan the task and schedule the work for a given task/activity.
• Provide technical oversight of the work and reviews of outputs.
• Maintain a questioning attitude and challenge assumptions.
• Coordinate between areas to avoid technical conflicts.
• Lead responses for information requests from internal/external customers.
