Job summary

The role leads design and development within sustaining engineering for disposable medical devices, coordinating with global teams and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO design controls.

The candidate will manage projects, supervise team members, and contribute to IP through invention disclosures and patents, shaping safer, more effective therapies.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Plastics, Biomedical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in Class II or Class III disposables medical product development.
• Experience with design controls and regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of product changes within sustaining engineering for disposable medical devices.
• Schedule, budget, and lead engineering projects with minimal guidance.
• Coordinate and communicate R&D efforts with global cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Adhere to design control procedures and regulatory guidance.
• May supervise engineers and/or technicians.
