Job summary

Software Resources has an immediate contract to hire opportunity for a Principal Engineer I – AIOps ServiceNow in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid role requires 4 days on-site with Fridays remote and is a 6+ month contract to hire.

You will provide SME expertise, lead a team, and own large, complex design responsibilities while partnering with project sponsors to refine requirements for targeted IT solutions.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow hands-on experience with 5+ years in background, not just support.
• Hands-on engineering delivery experience required, not purely operational tasks.
• Must have hands-on development experience with ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of observability tools and cloud monitoring concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate monitoring/observability tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Elastic).
• 4ServiceNow Micro-Certs for AIOps/Health Log Analytics/Cloud Observability required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME-level expertise across domains to ensure safe, secure, compliant, and reliable solutions.
• Identify development and support needs; take on large, complex design responsibilities.
• Engage with sponsors to refine requirements and objectives of targeted solutions.
• Facilitate dialogue and collaboration across teams, including outside domains.
• Develop presentations and grow the technical skills of junior engineers.

Software Resources has an immediate contract to hire job opportunity for a Principal Engineer I – AIOps Service Now with a major corporation in Phoenix, AZ. 4 days per week on-site, Fridays remote.

6+ month contract to hire

Must haves:

• ServiceNow hands on experience in their background (5 years)
• Hands-on engineering experience, not support
• Candidates MUST have hands-on development experience with ServiceNow
• Basic observability and teleport
• Integration of those tools -e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Elastic)
• 4ServiceNow Micro-Certs for AIOps/Health Log Analytics/Cloud Observability

Day in the life of a Principal Engineer I – AIOps ServiceNow Contractor:

• You'll provide SME expertise in your respective domain as well as adjacent domains to ensure solutions are safe, secure, compliant, and reliable.
• You'll identify development and support needs as well as take on large and complex design responsibilities supporting project tasks.
• You'll also engage with project and business sponsors refining requirements and objectives of targeted solutions.
• As a Principal Engineer I, you also facilitate dialogue and activities, and work to ensure team collaboration including teams outside of your domain.
• You'll develop effective presentations and narratives for IT audiences. In this role, you'll also develop the technical skills of one more junior engineers.
