Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a highly accomplished Chief Engineer to lead the technical development and execution of a next-generation missile defense program. This role spans interceptors, spacecraft, and ground software, requiring bold, innovative solutions aligned with rigorous engineering discipline.

The candidate will have 15+ years in large-scale software, 5+ years as chief architect, and deep experience with real-time C2, RMF, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale, mission-critical software systems.
• At least 5 years in a chief architect or equivalent role.
• Experience with real-time command-and-control (C2) or fire control systems.
• Knowledge of DoD software standards and RMF.
• Strong leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end ground segment architecture for a large-scale C2 system.
• Drive architectural principles for scalability, resiliency, and autonomy.
• Interface with government stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
• Mentor senior engineers and maintain technical rigor.
