Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. seeks a Senior Propulsion Development Engineer to lead design, analysis, and testing of propulsion systems for advanced spacecraft.

You will mentor engineers and drive flight campaigns across ground and flight tests, shaping next‑gen missile defense vehicles. Based in a fully onsite role with offices in Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA, you will collaborate cross‑functionally, own propulsion architectures, and contribute to continuous improvement while engaging with customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Launch or Space Vehicles.
• Experience with propulsion systems, flight valves, and fluid architecture.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, and optimization of propulsion systems for satellites.
• Work propulsion and other spacecraft subsystems from concept to flight.
• Review models and drawings from top level down to parts.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, thermal, and avionics teams to validate designs.
• Contribute to initiatives to improve design efficiency and performance.
• Present content to internal and external customers.
