Northrop Grumman is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) for the US Army and a Poland Foreign Military Sales case. This role involves on-site field service, deployments to CONUS/OCONUS locations, and ensuring timely installation, training, and support.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 5 years plus, or higher degrees with fewer years, an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain Security+/Linux+

Qualifikationen

• Experience performing technical analysis of system implementations, modifications, and enhancements.
• Ability to identify technical issues, determine root cause, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to represent to organization as on-site technical point of contact with customer organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain any required higher clearance.
• Current U.S. passport required.
• Position requires the ability and unrestricted availability to deploy domestically and internationally, including CONUS and OCONUS locations, for extended periods of 90 days or longer, as required by business needs.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Demonstrated flexibility and commitment to work extended hours, as required, to meet customer expectations and support program objections.

Are you ready to join Northrop Grumman? If so, put your experience to work as a member of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) technical staff. The position supports the US Army IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to work as a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide Field Service operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales case, Poland.

This position requires extended travel to multiple CONUS/OCONUS locations including Poland. Deployment to Poland can be up to 6 months long.

The Principal Field Engineer role requires Security+ and Linux+ certifications within three months from the date of assignment to IA/IT roles.

Duties include:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting IBCS in an operational, field engineering, or Field Service Representative (FSR) environment.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux.
• Experience serving as a subject matter expert in a significant technical area.
• Knowledge of IBCS or similar integrated air and missile defense, command-and-control, or mission systems.
• Familiarity with systems integration, system validation, and field implementation activities.
• Broad understanding of related technical disciplines and ability to apply that knowledge in support of field operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical knowledge-sharing efforts and improve team capability and proficiency.
• Experience supporting defense industry customers, field service engineering activities, or mission-critical system environments.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
