Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Principal Engineer - FDE to shape the end-to-end technology architecture for enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, guide architecture decisions, and ensure solutions align with strategic objectives.

The role demands leadership across AI, data, APIs, cloud, and legacy systems, with a focus on security, reliability and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 11 years experience; or equivalent background.
• Ability to mentor others, drive teams to results and lead large, complex technical projects.
• Experience turning business problems into working production solutions from architecture through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee overall applications architecture vision across multi-product environments.
• Oversee development and delivery of technical and/or functional specifications.
• Lead architecture reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectures for new strategic initiatives.
• Champion architectural standards, guidelines, and reference models.
• Provide ongoing guidance on projects and IT business transformation.
