Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an Infrastructure Architect Executive to define reference infrastructure architectures and lead enterprise-wide initiatives. This role requires strong leadership to shape identity platforms and drive secure, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will guide AD/Microsoft Entra ID ecosystems, oversee recovery planning, and mentor engineering teams while ensuring alignment with EA roadmaps and industry standards. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 7 years of architecture/design experience in relevant technology disciplines.
• Develop and maintain enterprise AD and Microsoft Entra ID architecture roadmaps.
• Design scalable, secure identity solutions and lead identity modernization initiatives.
• Establish and maintain architectural standards, governance models, and operational frameworks.
• Support identity integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares business case, lobbies to secure funding for, and drives implementation of new technologies.
• Owns overall platform architecture vision and ensures components are aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Leads the construction of infrastructure architecture components.
• Leads definition of business and IT recovery operating environment.
• Drives architectural standards aligned with customer, IT and industry standards.
• Defines systems and technical architectures for new strategic initiatives and ensures compliance with roadmaps.
• Drives solutions addressing service requirements and capacity for growth.
• Speaks to executive stakeholders and presents technical plans.
