The NY Substation Engineering & Design department is committed to delivering on our promises and producing the highest quality substation designs. In this role you will improve the design quality, ensure consistent implementation of standard designs, and play a key role in developing & mentoring our team members
Provide independent, thorough quality checks of substation drawings and associated deliverables to support substation capital improvement and construction projects. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of engineering standard documents and standard design templates, provide on‑site field support when required, and deliver training, mentorship, and professional development for electrical designers and engineers. Collaborate with multi‑discipline engineering and design teams to meet project milestones for work ranging from upgrades to existing substations to new greenfield builds. Substations range from large transmission facilities to small distribution substations up to and including 345kV.
Salary: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 USD annually
