Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field with 4-5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2-4 years, or PhD with 1-2 years.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems; pumps, high vacuum systems and RF generators.
• Strong problem solving and communication of action plans; fluent English both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with maintenance technicians and process engineers to meet production demands.
• Drives continuous improvement projects with respect to equipment availability, cost reduction, and yield improvement.
• Establish and manage the spare parts to meet repair budgets.
• Mentor and lead lower-level equipment engineering team members.
• Manage installation and startup of new or retrofit equipment.

This engineer will own the daily performance of a diverse set of deposition equipment types and set the strategic plan for improvements and new equipment.
