A day in the life as a Principal Engineer – Civil & Structures is centered around providing technical leadership across multiple projects while supporting and developing engineering teams. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, guiding design decisions, reviewing complex civil and structural plans, and ensuring alignment with company standards from proposal through project completion. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with project teams, mentor engineers, and help resolve technical challenges that arise in both design and execution. You’ll also play a key role in establishing and enforcing design standards, setting engineering metrics, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. This role blends hands‑on technical expertise with leadership, requiring strong judgment, problem‑solving, and a passion for developing others.
Salary: $133,847.00 - $194,078.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
