HubSpot’s Developer Acceleration group is redefining release engineering for thousands of engineers. We’re hiring a Principal Software Engineer to shape the future of build, test, and deploy pipelines at scale, with agentic AI.

You’ll stay hands‑on, lead end‑to‑end initiatives, and influence architecture across the platform while delivering AI‑enabled automation and fast, reliable software delivery for HubSpot.

Qualifications

• Experience building large‑scale distributed systems, especially in CI/CD and release engineering.
• Strong architectural instincts toward simplicity, clarity and long‑term platform leverage.
• Experience operating at hyperscaler or platform-provider scale.
• A track record of owning and delivering complex, cross‑team technical initiatives with org‑wide impact.
• A hands‑on mindset: you lead by building, debugging, reviewing, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction for the build, test, and deploy systems that underpin how HubSpot ships software.
• Drive architectural decisions across pipeline design, test infrastructure, deployment orchestration, and developer ergonomics.
• Define the next generation of HubSpot’s delivery platform beyond the current one.
• Write production code regularly and lead complex initiatives end‑to‑end.
• Design and implement AI‑powered QA agents that run on every deploy to reduce risk.
