Job summary

Boston Materials seeks a Principal Engineer, Advanced Manufacturing to lead commissioning and operation of high-volume manufacturing lines. You will work with equipment and process teams to design, optimize workflows, and implement MES/SCADA tools for real-time monitoring and traceability.

Qualifications

• Independent work style with minimal supervision.
• Cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams.
• Strong grasp of process control, SPC, and capability analysis.
• Experience implementing QA/QC from raw materials to finished product release.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of new high-volume manufacturing equipment through production readiness.
• Collaborate with equipment and process engineers to optimize workflows and document them.
• Design and implement MES/SCADA-based real-time process monitoring and traceability.
• Establish line readiness standards and preventive maintenance programs.
