Job Summary:

The Principle Engineer 3 (ENGP3) will support the Vogtle EPU team by conducting technical basis research and preparing summaries, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on technical analysis reports related to plant performance upgrades. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with technical documentation and report preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and retrieve technical information from Plant Vogtle technical basis documents.
• Summarize technical information consistent with Southern Nuclear Corporation (SNC) formatting standards.
• Submit technical summaries for review and approval.
• Perform technical reviews of analysis reports prepared by others.
• Provide constructive feedback on reports analyzing plant performance upgrades.
• Utilize SNC s AI search tools to assist with research tasks.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Engineering degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of 5 years direct relevant experience.
• Strong technical research and documentation skills.
• Experience with technical report preparation and review.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Familiarity with nuclear plant technical basis documents and performance upgrade analysis.
• Experience using AI-assisted research tools.

Special Considerations:

• Position reports directly to the Vogtle EPU Supervisor.
• Dual role requiring flexibility to balance research and review responsibilities.
