Job summary

City of Miami Beach is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer to lead planning, design, construction, inspection and maintenance of diverse public works projects and facilities in Miami Beach. You will design construction plans and specs for roads, bridges, water systems, lighting, parking and utilities while ensuring compliance with standards.

• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.

Responsibilities

Professional Civil Engineer working in the planning design, construction, inspection and maintenance of a variety of public works projects and facilities.

• Responsible for the design and development of construction plans and specifications for roads,bridges, water supply systems, street lights, street parking, sanitary sewer systems, stormwatermanagementsystems,and other publicworks facilities.
• Reviews field surveys to develop information required for design and construction of public worksprojects
