Job summary

City of Miami Beach is seeking a Professional Engineer to lead planning, design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of a broad range of public works projects and facilities. The role involves preparing plans for roads, bridges, water systems, lighting, and sanitary sewer networks, as well as reviewing surveys and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Professional Civil Engineer working in the planning design, construction, inspection and maintenance of a variety of public works projects and facilities.

• Responsible for the design and development of construction plans and specifications for roads,bridges, water supply systems, street lights, street parking, sanitary sewer systems, stormwatermanagementsystems,and other publicworks facilities.
• Reviews field surveys to develop information required for design and construction of public worksprojects
• Reviewsplansforpublicworks projectsforcompliancewithstandards
