Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Principal Embedded Software Engineer for the Flight / GN&C Software Team. You will design and develop flight system embedded software applications and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, scalable software products.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and strong experience in C/C++, Python, and model-based engineering. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience in embedded software engineering.
Active DoD Secret clearance, or ability to obtain SAP approval.
Experience with C/C++/C#/Python/Java and real-time systems.
Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and Cameo.

Responsibilities

Design and develop flight system embedded software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software products.
Support the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah.
