Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in Annapolis, MD seeks an Electronics Engineer or Principal Electronics Engineer to join the Oceanic Systems Engineering team. You will collaborate with IPTs to define hardware requirements, design hardware, and document firmware and schematics.

Travel up to 10% may be required. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, experience with CAD tools (Mentor Graphics preferred), and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with engineering/office tools (MathCad, MATLAB, schematic capture) and electrical simulation.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics or similar CAD programs and engineering drawing development.
• US citizen able to obtain TS/SCI and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing and quality engineers to determine hardware requirements and architectures.
• Develop hardware designs and define power budgets.
• Document firmware and hardware designs (schematics & fabrication drawings).
• Develop test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans and perform hardware/system integration.
