Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering.
• 12+ years of professional engineering design and support experience focusing on electronic and communication systems.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in NY and/or NJ.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple assignments across disciplines.
• Design experience with multiple systems in networked architectures (CCTV, security, analog/digital communications, radio).
• Experience with contract documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review contract documents for DBB contracts, including drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Lead teams to produce bid-ready documents meeting client requirements within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise RFQ/RFP documents for design-build contracts and related design criteria.
• Lead engineers in producing bid documents to meet client needs and budgets.
• Review preliminary design work and planning documents for capital projects.
• Provide design alternatives and cost guidance for future planning and funding.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external entities to minimize disruption.
• Ensure safety, maintainability, and compliance with codes and standards.
