Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is hiring for an Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Lead to provide technical guidance and supervision across project commitments in electrical design and production. You will work with factories and suppliers to deliver data-based evidence for informed program directions.

The role requires 8+ years in SE/PE/PTE with missile guidance experience, plus active security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in System Engineering (SE) or Production Engineering (PE) or Production Test Engineering (PTE).
• Experience with analysis, testing, measurement or integration of electrical products or systems, and leading cross-functional teams or projects.
• Experience with missile guidance section or subassembly production and development, with understanding of product development lifecycle.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.

Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products.

As the Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Lead, you will provide both technical guidance and supervision in meeting projectcommitments. In this role you will work with Raytheon factories andsuppliers todeliver data-based evidence to ensure proper decision-making for the direction of the program related to electrical design and production.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior Engineering experience
• Required relevant experience to include a combination of the following: Engineering experience in System Engineering (SE) or Production Engineering (PE) or Production Test Engineering (PTE)
• Experience in analysis, testing, measurement or integration of electrical products or systems, and leading cross-functional teams or projects
• Experience with missile guidance section or subassembly production and development, with a strong understanding of all phases of the product development lifecycle
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Experience serving as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA), Control Account Manager (CAM), and/or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
• Failure investigation, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation
• Experience in production support of RF guidance systems
• Strong emotional intelligence skills (i.e., self-awareness, self-management, empathy, social awareness, relationship management)
• Strong track record for working effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
• Strong engineering development discipline and process advocacy

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
