Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience designing embedded hardware with PCB layouts and firmware
- Proficiency in PCB design tools and circuit simulation
- Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC)
- Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design
- Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet
- Experience in medical/life sciences regulatory environments is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design embedded hardware including schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware
- Lead architecture decisions for embedded platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Conduct design reviews, testing, and validation of embedded systems
- Optimize power, performance, and cost of embedded solutions
- Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues
- Lead technical projects from concept to commercialization
- Collaborate with external partners and manufacturers to ensure success
