Job summary

Radiant is building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactor. The Principal Electrical Engineer will own end-to-end electrical integration, from architecture to hardware bring-up and validation, and serve as the technical authority for Kaleidos.

You will collaborate across mechanical, software, and systems engineering, leading complex hardware programs from concept to deployment with a focus on robust verification and risk management.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years progressive electrical engineering experience with hardware design and test.
• Experience setting technical direction and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to deliver a functional product under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and own electrical and software integration requirements.
• Build and maintain electrical test infrastructure for Kaleidos.
• Coordinate hardware, control systems, and software interfaces.
• Drive electrical validation strategy with procedures and best practices.
• Manage schedule, budget, and vendor activities.
• Develop tooling and automation to improve efficiency.
• Support electrical integration across critical systems.
• Lead design reviews and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
