Job summary

Radiant is seeking a Principal or Staff Electrical Engineer to define and lead the electrical architecture for Kaleidos, our commercial microreactor targeted for customer deployment in 2028. The role spans full-stack PCB development, mixed-signal design, high-speed interfaces, power distribution, and signal integrity for data acquisition and real-time processing essential to reactor control.

You will own board bring-up, debugging, and qualification plans, collaborate with firmware/FPGA and DSP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience shipping hardware from requirements through layout, bring-up and production.
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet) and layout constraints.

Responsibilities

• Bring up, debug, and validate hardware through board-level testing and instrumentation.
• Write and execute validation and qualification plans to prove performance and reliability.
• Lead design reviews and mentor electrical team members; own hardware risk mitigation.
