SleepRes, Inc. seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical architecture for next‑gen PAP therapy systems.

This hands‑on leadership role covers power, PCBAs, sensors, blower/heater interfaces, display hardware, communications, safety, EMC, and production‑test interfaces. You will collaborate with systems, firmware, software, V&V, quality, regulatory, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to deliver reliable, compliant electronics from concept to commercialization.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; 8+ years in electrical product development.
• MS preferred for advanced roles; leadership experience valued.
• Strong design, verification, and production-transfer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical architecture, design, development, and verification for PAP products.
• Own main control PCBAs, power distribution, sensor interfaces, and related hardware.
• Translate system requirements into electrical specs, interfaces and production-ready solutions.
• Lead schematic, PCB layout, component selection, tolerance, derating, grounding, shielding, and SI reviews.
• Own electrical-safety and EMC engineering, including pre-compliance testing and certification support.
• Lead RF integration and FCC/PTCRB/certification activities.
• Support verification, reliability testing, and root-cause analysis with lab equipment.
• Collaborate with NPI, suppliers, and manufacturers on DFM, ICT, calibration, and testability.
• Partner with Operations on component lifecycle, supplier changes, and cost reduction.
• Support design controls, DFMEA, verification docs, and engineering reports.
