Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal or Sr Principal Electrical Engineer to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA. You will own the full product lifecycle for circuits development, performing detailed electrical design, schematic capture, layout, and prototype testing.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, creating documentation, and supporting qualification and manufacturing. A DoD security clearance and related experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM field with related engineering experience.
• Active Secret DoD clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
• Experience with circuit design tools and hardware bring-up is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle for circuits development.
• Perform detailed electrical circuit design and analysis.
• Capture schematics and build component libraries.
• Layout PCBs and test prototype hardware.
• Develop and test automated test equipment and scripts.
• Prepare design documentation and support production manufacturing.
