Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer 3 for Automated Test Equipment (ATE). You will design, test, and sustain electrical ground support equipment used to integrate and launch our vehicles.

Responsibilities include leading design reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring safety and quality while collaborating across disciplines. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s in Engineering.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret Clearance at time of application.
• Experience with electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) or test equipment.
• Knowledgeable with telemetry, power systems, and HiL/test integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy EGSE or similar equipment for launch vehicle programs.
• Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for design reviews.
• Lead teams in test procedures and engineering design activities.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior engineers to meet project goals.
