Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our LTEO team. You will support aircraft ground and flight test development in a lab environment, designing tests and leading execution.

Bachelor's in STEM with 5 years of related experience (3 years with MS, 1 year with PhD) and an active Secret clearance are required. Experience with test equipment and schematics is essential; Jira/Confluence familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have an Active, In-Scope US government Secret Security Clearance or higher within past 5 years.
• Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and integration of subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives.
• Lead test events ranging from developmental to formal testing.
• Establish and maintain standards of test conduct and rigor.
• Effectively manage lab configuration through detailed documentation.
• Communicate lab and test status to leadership in written and oral form.
• Troubleshoot component and system level issues/discrepancies.
