Job description

The successful candidate will join the organization with the title of Principal Test Engineer or Principal Hardware/Electrical Engineer. In the role of Principal Engineer, primary responsibility will be to work with a team of test systems design engineers (HW and SW) and technicians in the development of product test equipment and perform product test integration. This position requires ability to establish and maintain a close professional relationship with our product line customers. The candidate must be able to resolve difficult hardware and software test solution issues. The candidate will work with a group of highly skilled engineers in the development of test solutions that will be deployed for internal or customer use. The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills to work in a small team atmosphere. Current need is to support test solution development and deployment for the Human Space/Satellite Avionics and Mechanical Space products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in performing test equipment hardware design/integration

Additional Qualifications

• Experience as an ATE/Test Engineer designing, implementing and integrating test solutions for avionic/mechanical/space products
• Must have superior written and verbal communication skills to work with product engineering, manufacturing, and customer support groups
• Experience with hardware/software integration
