Our Advanced Radar Department has an immediate need for a Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader across a complex Family of Systems (FoS). The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands‑on hardware expertise and demonstrated leadership experience spanning airborne radar systems, tactical mobile ground‑based support systems, and security driven hardware architectures progressing into high rate production environments.
This leader will provide authoritative hardware direction across multiple development and sustainment contracts, mentor engineering teams, partner closely with suppliers and cross‑functional organizations, and proactively manage technical risk across the entire hardware portfolio. This position is critical to program stability and continuity due to current bandwidth constraints and limited FoS‑level cleared hardware leadership coverage. The role resides within the Cabin Production Design Support section supporting the Advanced Sensor Program (ASP) and requires the ability to operate effectively between Raytheon’s Plano, TX and McKinney, TX facilities.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
