Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Min 10 years hands-on electronic hardware design and PCB development.
• Proven leadership of electrical hardware development from requirements to production.
• Strong analog/digital/mixed-signal design, power conversion, and protection systems.
• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs with signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC.
• Proficiency with Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, LTspice or equivalents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting design reviews, verification plans, root-cause investigations.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead without formal management.
• Strong communication and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical hardware development across BMS, power electronics, protection circuits, and control electronics.
• Own hardware architecture, requirements analysis, circuit design, simulation, and hardware implementation.
• Translate system requirements into detailed electrical designs and verification plans.
• Lead designs from concept through prototype, verification, qualification, and production release.
• Document design tradeoffs among performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, and schedule.
• Conduct rigorous design reviews to identify issues before fabrication.
• Collaborate with embedded software to ensure hardware/software integration.
• Lead hardware bring-up, testing, debugging, and verification activities.
• Mentor engineers, review work products, and improve design quality.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and quality for transfer to production.
