Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Elasticsearch Systems Engineer to support a large enterprise Elasticsearch deployment in a DevSecOps environment. The role spans cloud (AWS) and on-prem, collaborating with architecture, engineering, development, and operations to ensure scalable, stable data services.

The candidate will maintain clusters, optimize performance, and manage upgrades while upholding data integrity across environments. TS/SCI with poly is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Elasticsearch Administration experience.
• Direct experience maintaining and integrating Elasticsearch within an enterprise information system.
• Experience in Agile development environment and tempo.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Elasticsearch clusters in a cloud-based environment across multiple availability zones.
• Ensure Elasticsearch clusters run under optimal conditions and are upgraded.
• Evaluate configuration, indexing, search, and security for performance tuning.
• Maintain infrastructure to ensure performance and data integrity.
