Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Principal Consultant, EHS to lead transformative safety programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will drive compliance, mentor consultants, and partner with senior leaders across Technology, BioPharma, Power, and Telecom sectors to deliver measurable safety improvements.

The role emphasizes project and budget management, strong communication, and the ability to travel across a large geographic area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or related science.
• 6+ years of relevant EHS experience, ideally in technology, biopharma, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative safety programs addressing audits, risk assessments, and industrial hygiene evaluations.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and manage client relationships to deliver safety improvements and measurable business value.
• Deliver ERM’s safety consulting services including compliance audits, leadership training, and risk management systems.
