Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) is seeking a seasoned Principal Environmental/Ecological Project Manager & Office Lead to oversee our local office and guide regional ecological projects.

You will manage work plans, budgets, scheduling, and reports, while coordinating field operations and client relations. The role demands 15+ years of ecological experience, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of permitting, NEPA, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of ecological experience with permitting, NEPA, and related regulatory work.
• Experience leading teams and managing complex ecological projects.
• Strong knowledge of ecological laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to manage field surveys, habitat assessments, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning and growth of ecological services.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the local office.
• Oversee regional ecological assessments, surveys, and impact studies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.
