Job summary

Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeks an experienced Principal Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on DoD S&T/R&D platform integration and transition to a DoD program of record, requiring deep technical, analytical, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has DoD/IC cyber research background, strong reverse engineering capabilities, and hands-on leadership in security development across the lifecycle, including automation and tooling expertise.

Qualifications

Specialized expertise in cybersecurity and offensive cyber development.
CS-related degree with reverse engineering, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation.
Significant DoD/IC cyber R&D experience, applied and advanced.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and tech transition with intelligence community, USSOCOM, and US Cyber Command.
Experience with SECDEVOPS, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and workflow automation.
3+ years of experience with C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
Experience automating reverse engineering and vulnerability detection using Ghidra scripts.
Understanding of DEP and ASLR mitigations.
Experience using reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Hex-Rays, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, objdump).
Experience in the commercial tech sector, with AI and emerging technologies.
Management and business experience supporting DARPA programs.
