Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company seeks a Principal Digital Product Manager to own the vision and roadmap for the Hosting Product Group, spanning cloud, compute, storage, and mainframe products. You will set strategy, align cross-functional teams, and ensure data-driven decisions to deliver digital value.

You will lead global teams, apply Agile methods, and partner with stakeholders to optimize processes and experiences for a digital future-state.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience conducting product scoping, discovery, framing, and backlog ownership for digital products.

Responsibilities

Own the strategic direction of your area of responsibility (~20 products across cloud, compute & storage, and mainframe); developing and managing a strategic roadmap.
Conduct market and user research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; connect tech trends to business strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform architectural decisions and drive delivery acceleration.
Drive alignment on strategic intent and priorities across teams and responsibilities; influence backlogs across product areas.
Own overarching product KPIs and monitor performance towards outcomes.
Communicate progress to internal stakeholders and external partners; coordinate priorities.
Manage budgets and vendor contracts; forecast total cost of ownership.
