Job summary

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is seeking a Principal DevSecOps and Release Engineer to architect and implement comprehensive DevSecOps practices for casino systems. You will lead secure, scalable deployment pipelines and embed security at every stage of the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing CI/CD frameworks, integrating advanced security testing, and enabling multi-tenant deployment strategies with observability and reliability engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps roles in large-scale systems.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong release management knowledge (versioning, change control, rollback).
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet configuration management.
• Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerization expertise.
• IaC experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Cloud security practices (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a robust DevSecOps strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with security at every stage.
• Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle (SAST/DAST).
• Design secure deployment strategies for single and multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance via testing and tuning.
• Lead platform observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Plan end-to-end software releases across environments and ensure readiness.
• Enforce standardized release management processes including versioning and change control.
• Maintain safe work practices and consistent attendance.
