Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support DoD cloud infrastructure deployment, hardening, and security automation. The role requires TS/SCI eligibility and hands-on work deploying secure cloud environments in a hybrid model with on-site at the Rosslyn, VA facility moving to Crystal City.

You will collaborate with software teams to automate CI/CD, maintain security tools, and ensure compliance across DevSecOps pipelines to meet national security requirements.

Description SAIC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer with a cybersecurity focus to support our Department of the Air Force customer in deployment and hardening of a cloud infrastructure. The Cyber DevSecOps Engineer will build, manage, maintain and scale operational cybersecurity applications and be a critical subject matter expert for consulting and implementation support.

We are seeking a high energy, detail-oriented and highly organized Cyber DSO to join our dynamic team. As a Cyber DSO, you will play a critical role in deploying, operating, and securing cloud development, staging, testing, and operational environments in support of our nation’s most challenging national security missions. This is a hybrid position with onsite requirements at the Rosslyn, VA facility which will be moving to Crystal City.

Responsibilities Of The DevSecOps Engineer Include

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible
• Deployment and maintenance of cybersecurity tools and applications
• Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, collaborate with other DSOs to create and maintain fully Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI/CD testing
• Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers
• Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production
• Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms
• Continuously identify opportunities to automate and increase cyber posture

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• TS Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
• Proven background working in DevOps software development environments with specific experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas
  • Experience with tools like Axonious, Splunk, Trend Micro, ACAS
  • Security automation
  • Pipeline development and maintenance
  • CI/CD with GitLab and Bitbucket
  • Container management with Kubernetes and Helm

Target salary range $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
