Job summary

IC Resources in the San Diego area is seeking a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer for an on-site role with a very high level of autonomy.

You will influence architecture and delivery on critical systems from a base in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software engineering with a DevOps/SRE focus, plus strong scripting (Python, Go, Bash), multi-cloud expertise, and hands-on IaC/CI/CD experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with a DevOps/SRE focus.
• Strong scripting and programming experience: Python, Go, Bash.
• Extensive experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Proficient with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Experience building and releasing CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub.
• Cloud security/compliance best practices in DevSecOps.

We're working with a big name in the Deep Tech space in their search for a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer with a very high level of autonomy.

This is an On-Site (5 days/week) Position in the San Diego Area.

Because the client does a significant amount of work with the U.S. Federal Government, we can only consider U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders at this time.
