Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer in the San Diego area for a highly autonomous role.

The candidate will lead DevOps/SRE initiatives across multi-cloud/hybrid environments, building secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. A strong self-starter with 10+ years in software engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in software engineering with a DevOps/SRE focus.
• Strong scripting/programming in Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Extensive multi-cloud and hybrid environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps initiatives with a high level of autonomy across multi-cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub).
• Oversee infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

We're working with a big name in the Deep Tech space in their search for a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer (Future Leader) with a very high level of autonomy.

This is an On-Site (5 days/week) Position in the San Diego Area.

Because the client does a significant amount of work with the U.S. Federal Government, we can only consider U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders at this time.

What We\'re Looking for in a Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer:

• 10 Years Experience in the Software Engineering Field with a focus on DevOps/SRE
• Very Strong Scripting and/or Programming Experience: Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Extensive Experience in Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Environments
• Highly Proficient with IaC Tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Extensive Experience Building and Releasing CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub
• Experience with Cloud Security and Compliance Best Practices, DevSecOps
• High Level of Autonomy and Agency and Ability to Work Little Direction
