Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a DevOps Software Engineer to join the SIGINT Technology Center in Chantilly, VA. You will contribute to design, development, and operation of software pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments across Linux and Windows environments.

Role involves collaborating with engineers on system integration, automation, and data pipeline reliability, with a focus on mission-critical SIGINT payload projects. Active Secret clearance required to begin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM field and related experience.
• US citizenship with active Secret clearance; TS/SCI desired.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated builds and tests, quality gates, and CI tools.
• Background in software DevOps for software and hardware integration.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong documentation and process development skills.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and V-model.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software development environments and pipelines.
• Document current and future DevOps processes.
• Develop procedures to ensure data pipeline integrity and reliability.
• Build and maintain Linux/Windows images.
• Manage software repositories and deployments.
• Support system design, testing, and integration of upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers to support DevOps for SILs and production.
• Gain knowledge of system and software architecture and mission operations.
