Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks a Principal DevOps Engineer in Manhattan Beach, CA, to lead CI/CD pipelines for state-of-the-art mission planning systems. On-site role requiring TS clearance, strong DevOps background, and hands-on CI/CD tool experience.

You will set up environments, build Windows installers, manage repositories, and support the team with build/installation issues while adhering to version control policies and security requirements.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS or higher in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps engineering or software build management, or 3+ years with Master’s.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance adjudicated within 5 years.
• Clearance to Highest ATDC SAP level.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools Bamboo or Jenkins.
• Development scripting: YAML, Python, PowerShell, Curl, Unix.
• Programming experience in C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Ansible, VisualBuild, InstallShield, Wix.
• Ability to work on-site in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe production delivery.
• Set up development, test, and build environments for the team.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver products.
• Create and update Windows installers.
• Install, test, and verify software products.
• Maintain multiple baseline repositories.
• Provide build/installation issue support.
• Define and implement version control policies and procedures.
• All work performed on-site in Manhattan Beach, CA.
