Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE engineer to align business strategy with scalable software solutions in Alabama. You will design, code, and deploy platforms using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Bring 5+ years in the field, a bachelor’s degree, and hands-on knowledge of Spark, Trino, Airflow, Iceberg, Git, Helm, and container image creation. Strong problem solving and proactive collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience deploying or running applications on Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong experience with container image creation.
Experience with Spark, Trino, Airflow, and Iceberg.
Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts from an application perspective.
Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
Experience with Helm or templated Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
