Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems seeks a Principal / Sr. Principal DevOps Engineer to join our software team onsite in Melbourne, FL. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate software delivery, and collaborate with software engineers, program management, and government customers.
Ideal candidates have strong Python/Bash scripting, Linux/Windows security experience, and familiarity with Atlassian tools, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Clearable positions with onsite work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field required with related engineering experience.
- Experience developing automation for CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with RedHat Linux and Windows security environments.
- Strong scripting in Python and other languages.
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite, Git and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across projects.
- Automate software delivery processes and streamline development workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and government customers as needed.
- Develop automation solutions and scripts (Python, Bash, YAML/JSON).
- Work with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) and other pipeline tools.
